Canine Forest School Uxbridge!
Going above and beyond for dogs to dog and pups to pup, while acquiring awesome life skills!
Forest School specializes in providing small, safe, social groups to play, learn and explore together in the great outdoors! We spend the majority of our time together outside – grounded by nature and guided by their nature.
Our Forest School day is built on creating patterns that each individual easily learns through guidance, observation, and taking turns. We work on life skills – building fluency, resilience, emotional self-regulation capacity and more. For our older group (6 months and up), ‘field trips’ take us to enjoy 3 acres of fenced property to fully “stretch their legs” and provide a safe off leash adventure! For pups, our huge backyard is puppy paradise!
We support full expession of natural instincts and behaviours— investigating, foraging, wrestling, chewing, mouthing, splashing, digging, sniffing, running, stalking (the list goes on!). We incorporate quiet rest periods, provide healthy treats and have two indoor spaces to create variety and roll with whatever the weather throws our way!
This overall experience supports the growth of confidence, while becoming more flexible and adaptive, developing skills to handle various real-world situations they’ll encounter throughout life. With the added bonus of “done for you” service once a week!
Forest School is currently 3-hours, 9am to noon, once per week with two age groups.
Puppy Forest School – Wednesdays Weekly. Drop off and pick up is required. A maximum of 4 puppies. Age range 10 weeks to 4-6 months (this varies depending on how each older pup engages with younger pups coming into our program).
Teammates Forest School – Thursdays Weekly. Pick up and drop off included within main service area. Please contact to discuss. A maximum of 4 dogs. Age range 6 months and up. Currently one spot available.

Step 1 | Phone Call | No Charge
A 15-minute phone call gets us started. We’ll discuss your pup/dog’s needs and why you’re interested in Forest School. I’ll answer any questions you might have about our program and services. If it seems like Forest School could be a good match for you and your pup/dog, we’ll proceed to Step Two of our enrollment process.
Step 2 | Forest School Visit | $25 (tax incl)
You and your pup/dog will come for a 25-minute tour where you’ll see our indoor and outdoor spaces. This gives you a chance to experience our Forest School environment and for me to meet you and your pup/dog.
Step 3 | Forest School Orientation Day | Puppy $57.50 (tx incl) | Teammates $67.50 (tax incl)
Your pup dog joins us for a Forest School Orientation Day to experience regular activities and meet the other pups/dogs. This gives us the opportunity to observe how you pup/dog does in this setting and provide you with insights/feedback. If the day goes smoothly, your pup/dog can join us weekly, bringing us to Step 4.
*Note* – for Teammates age group, we’ll set up a day and time for me to come to your home and orient your dog to my vehicle and myself BEFORE their full Orientation Day with the group. This is an approx 30 minute visit, where I’ll learn about where your dog’s leash, etc is kept and have a little fun with them to begin developing our relationship – $35 (tax incl).
Step 4 | Complete Forest School Intake Process
- Puppy Forest School: $57.50 (tax incl) per day – What About Puppy Shots?
- Teammates Forest School: $67.50 (tax incl) per day
To complete our intake process, I’ll send you our Forest School Sign Up link and your pup/dog will join us each week monthly. Once you join, invoices are sent out at the end of each month.
